Support Group Details
The Melton Mowbray prostate cancer support group is based at Melton Baptist Church Rooms, Leicester Road in Melton Mowbray. We are run purely by volunteers, most of whom have direct or indirect experience of prostate cancer and all the challenging life situations that typically accompany this awful disease. Our catchment area covers Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
The group is open to patients, their friends and family. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month between 7-9pm. We also have regular clinical attendees and speakers from Leicestershire hospitals such as specialist nurses, urologists, oncologists and other related consultants who are qualified to answer any medical questions you might have. Light refreshments are also available. Get in touch for more information or just turn up, you’ll be most welcome.
